Stressing Out

About 8 months ago I lost my job as an OB tech at a hospital here in St Louis.

I know I should have been freaking out, but I actually felt more at peace than I ever had...

I felt like God must have something better in store for me.

As the past 8 months have passed I have had feast and I have had famine...but never famine for long, which is good..lol.

The difference is that before I always had a plan, something in the works, something coming down the pipe...not today. I have now used all of my resources and folks, I'm scared.

I'm having a crisis not just of money, but of confidence. I was so cocky and thought I could make this work...but I failed to take into account my introverted nature which makes me feel awkward when trying to pose people...I get so uncomfortable inside that my tongue ties and I just rush to get rid of the feeling...I am not a natural saleswoman either...some people have the gift of gab...I'm not one of them...I digress

One thing I have not experienced a crisis in is my faith. I know things will work out, they always do. I continue to search for a full time bill paying job. I continue to snap that shutter and work for photographic magic.

Thanks for listening, here's a cute dog....

Casual

The weather here in St. Louis has been just gorgeous!! Hot and sticky as always, but just beautiful. I haven't had a lot of shoots scheduled here of late, so I have been pulling out the camera for pleasure....imagine that??!!

This image was captured with my iPhone...as I had a snafu with my camera....I love the look on his face when he sees the fireworks begin!

This is how I feel I am holding on sometimes. Just one claw keeping things together.

Just because I love llamas.

My Mother's Birthday

Today was my mothers birthday. I can't begin to tell you how many pictures were snapped..yet these folks cannot sit still or all look at the camera at the same time to save their lives. So, I have one decent picture with my two youngest and my mom....who kind of looks like she doesn't trust me and one picture of my parents which should answer the question of why I am the way I am. Happy Birthday Mom!!! These pictures that I know you hate will become treasured memories....just grin and bear it.

While I was away.....the abbreviated edition

Ok, I have a few minutes before I have to run and pick up the kiddos from school, so let me quickly update everyone on what's been going on the past few years.

After my last post Jan 2011....I have gotten older, gotten divorced, had to sell my camera to pay bills, moved into a house, been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, watched my oldest graduate high school and go on to college (yay Heather!!), watched my youngest and middle go into high school, met the man of my dreams, went back to college, bought a new camera, lost my job due to fibromyalgia, and become a starving artist!!

I think you are all caught up now!!  I am really hoping to lose the starving artist distinction!! If you can help with that, send folks my way!!!
Holy Cow!!!!

I finally regained access to my blog!! Wooohooo!!!

Over the next few days, I will be making some changes and updates, check back and see what I am up to.

Time for another post

I occasionally hear from some of my blog followers that they get a little bored with the same pictures being on here for any length of time...so I suppose it's time to put up some more.  I haven't really had a lot going on in the month of January..which I suppose is a good thing, given all the snow days my kids have had this month....they have only had school 6 days this month.....yes...you read that right...SIX.

So, with all my free time, I decided to go thru my pictures and pick my favorites and spend a little more time editing and tweaking...
