FINISHED!!!

I am loving my Photoshop class. I feel like I am learning a lot..until the teacher hits us with a 48 question "pop" quiz....after that I was looking for the remedial Photoshop class..(they don't offer one).

I finally finished with my first project! I took a very plain photograph of myself and a scanned handwritten page from the back of a family bible and created the picture above. I took out some wrinkles and added some vignetting. Hopefully, I will get a decent grade!

I also had a few people request that I take pictures of them...I am looking into picking up a few props for positioning and posing babies. The more I get into this, the more I feel drawn to photographing the really little humans and/or their births. I suppose I work in the right place to find models!

Busy Times

I see it's been a while since I posted. I keep thinking, I really should write something, but I always feel like I should put a picture with my posts...and right now, I don't have anything I want to post.

So the ankle is healing well, I go back to work on Monday! I started my Photoshop class a few weeks ago, I love it, however imagine taking a foreign language class that lasts FOUR HOURS, and the teacher speaks in the other language REALLY fast for the whole class. I think I might have to take this class again, just so I know I have it, because I am realizing what an invaluable tool photoshop is.

Heather is starting softball practice again..ugh..i mean yayy. Zach begs me daily to get into baseball, and buy a drum set. Hannah is starting gymnastics. I need to win the lottery STAT! Not just for the money, but, for the time it would allow me to be away from work to do all the things I need to do.

So, that's the way things stand right now...pretty much, it all hits the fan Monday.
